LIBYAN VISA PROCEDURES

Most travellers will require a visa to enter Libya . Exceptions are citizens of most Arab countries, and select countries who maintain reciprocal visa regulations.

Libya has consulates (People's Bureaus) in most countries. For countries without a Libyan consulate, potential visitors should visit the nearest Libyan Consulate with jurisdiction over their country of residence.

For business travel, you will require an invitation from a Libyan business or institute (sponsor), who will then send you a Visa Application Form. In Libya , the Immigration department is notified directly and your passport details together with the completed Visa Application Form are submitted.
